Peach Fur release transportive new single 'Aliens'

Hailing from the Gold Coast, psych-surf-pop quartet Peach Fur are excited to announce the release of their new single “Aliens” out November 1st. They are also soon to embark on a big run of east coast shows supporting good friends WHARVES.

Their latest single “Aliens” is a song of laid-back bliss, lead singer Denny Hilders softly croons his way between drifting guitars and sharp percussion, creating this gorgeously hazy track that builds slowly with a sense of unease. Hilders describes extra-terrestrials making their way to earth and trying to blend in with society: “Fly down to the ground // No one would know that they’re from a distant land // Open your mind, lets live and let’s be kind.” The track is a multi-part psych masterpiece that effortlessly weaves its way through shifting beats, rhythms and tempo changes.

Peach Fur was formed when most of the band were just 16 years old, playing shows at local GC venues. The band have consistently proven to be live favourites, and with the release of their debut

EP, ‘Pleasures & Necessities’ The bands popularity quickly climbed, amassing over 4 million streams on Spotify and earning countless fans from around the world with a perfect blend of pop, surf and psychedelic music. In 2018 their latest EP ‘Doreen Drive’ received widespread acclaim, including a nomination by the Gold Coast Music Awards for ‘Release of the year’ and plays on numerous national and international radio stations.

“Peach Fur have a manifesto of blending a pleasing array of modern rock, characterised by a driving and ever evolving psych that’s tastefully embellished with surf rock flourishes”.

The band have just returned from an 11 date European headline tour, packing out clubs across the continent with Dutch psych-reggae band Psyso. This is off the back of an impressive 2019 where they supported the likes of DZ Deathrays, The Living End, and Tia Gostelow along with their own massive headline East coast tour in support of previous single ‘Does Matter Really Matter?
